Henderson House Lobby

Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, The Henderson House is a co-op residential building. Tapped to renovate the common areas, Nelligan White designed a contemporary overhaul of the lobby and public corridors on all thirty-one floors.

With the idea of re-imagining the entrance lobby in modern fashion, we outfitted the space in bright limestone flooring and wood veneer wall paneling to inspire a sense of openness. Contemporary furniture, concierge desk, lighting, and signage were then carefully positioned to complement the detailing of the renovation.

Further work included a redesign of the remaining corridors on all thirty floors to echo the modern character of the lobby via new wall covering, lighting, and custom-designed carpet.
