Located in Rockaway, Queens, this project uses an existing woodworking shop and classroom space. The underutilized spaces are combined to create a more flexible woodworking and boat building facility to support the school’s enhanced curriculum.
The design included new custom millwork benches and workstations, new equipment, storage, and steel dunnage to support a boat hoist system.
This project was substantially completed in May 2014.
