Junior High School 142 Brooklyn

Junior High School 142 Brooklyn located in Clinton Hill is a five story brick structure with terra cotta decorative elements, originally designed by C.B.J. Snyder and constructed in 1903.

We undertook a complete exterior rehabilitation with a masonry replacement campaign to address decades of extensive deterioration. Cast stone replicas replaced most of the decorative terra cotta pieces while glass fiber-reinforced concrete helped produce a historically accurate cornice.

The work restored the building to landmark quality.
